14 Days of Continuous Prayer

We invite you to participate in 14 days of continuous prayer during this COVID-19 pandemic. The Word of God tells us to not be anxious about anything, but rather pray (Philippians 4:6). So from March 29th up to Easter Sunday we would like to have people seeking our Lord through prayer non-stop. You can sign up for a 15-minute prayer slot through this link:

14 Days of Prayer

Feel free to sign-up for more than one time slot and go ahead and sign-up in a slot already filled. The more people praying the better! Let's ask our Strong Deliverer to intervene and bring this pandemic to an end. Thank you for participating!

COVID-19 PRAYER GUIDE

We have made a prayer guide available if you would like to use one during your prayer time. Many of the requests in the prayer guide were received from those working in the medical field, care facilities, and educational institutions. But please don't limit yourself to this prayer guide. Pray as the Spirit leads you. Click on the link to download.

Philippians 4:6-7 AMP

“6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].”

Pray for those directly affected by the illness:

Pray for those medical workers battling the disease:

“Lord, we ask You to watch over the doctors, nurses and other medical staff caring for the ill and searching for treatments and vaccines. Protect them from contracting the illness and give them Divine wisdom and knowledge to effectively treat patients. Calm their anxieties and give them the courage they need to serve their patients well. May they demonstrate Your grace and peace as they care for others. Grant them the patience they need to handle the changes that develop. Thank You for their willingness to serve on the front lines against this virus.”

May they find hope and strength in You in this time of uncertainty.”

Pray for long-term and assisted care facilities:

Strengthen the staff to carry out the increased workloads and calm their spirits in the midst of these tense times. Encourage the residents who are not able to see family and friends as they once were able to. Grant them hope and peace in the midst of these altered circumstances. Grant wisdom to the administration in day to day decisions as they seek to care for the staff and residents.”

Keep the staff healthy during this time so they can effectively guide and administer the new means of education. Give wisdom, insight, and peace to teachers as they navigate new methods of teaching apart from the classroom and their students. Watch over and protect the students as some may have minimal supervision at home. Help them see the importance of the schoolwork assigned to them and give their full effort to the work. Grant patience to all the staff, parents, and students in working through this new situation.”

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come.

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses

As we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,

The power, and the glory,

For ever and ever. Amen.
